Aoife O'Dwyer

Artist & Creative Director

Hi I’m Aoife (pronounced like ee-fah). I'm an artist, illustrator, designer, creative director and founder. I’m based in Ireland and make work that tries to imagine what lives in the gaps of human perception. I love using my distinct colour palette and loads of whimsy to bring weirdly cute characters of critters and femmes to life. My artist career spans over 18 years and I joined the web3 space in 2021, committing to art and the NFT space full-time in 2022. My background is also really focussed in digital design having built a 12+ year career specialising in visual user interface design. I’m also an experienced creative event organiser and host, design lecturer and mentor.

I fell in love with Aoife's artwork in 2021. I was immediately spellbound by these whimsical creatures that conjured up childhood memories of playing in the woodland and streams on the Isle of Man and getting lost on the hillsides of Lancashire looking for treasures. Seeing a huge potential in this project, Aoife and I quickly became friends and we decided to partner together. My role is to lead on the business interests of The Foofees brand, finding key partnerships and seeking out opportunities for the IP. With my knowledge and experience of cofounding IRL Merch in 2014 and founding the digital artist agency RESTLE in 2023 I feel like together, Aoife and I will be bringing The Foofees to TV screens, Cinemas, fashion retailers, AR headsets and Theme parks near you in the not-too-distant future 🙂
